Today we went kayaking with the Beightol's on Oleta River. Our river guide, Sushi, is pictured above. She is enforcing some "no wake" waterway rules on some kids on jet skis! Punks!

Someone's been sleeping in my bed...

...and they are still there! We got Ripley a new crate the other day 'cause she was getting a bit naughty while we we at work. She seems to have gotten a taste for paper. Her new drug of choice includes anything paper; specifically mail, paper towels and even books! She even ate one of my old bird watching field guides! So we decided to get her a new crate and as you can see she loves it! But she is not the only one that digs the new digs...as you can see, so does Max! All of my dogs have been crate trained and they really like having their own space. Although it seems that they also like to share!

Wanted: Easter picture needs caption...

Happy belated Easter everyone! Hope you all had as fun a day as I did. Agi and I went up my Aunt's house for Easter and boy was it LOUD! Then again it always is in my family. We had a great time eating and playing Rockband and watching the kids run around high on Easter candy!

If you are noting the time of this post, you are probably wondering "Hey should'nt Carl be working?" Well you're right, I should be working. Unfortunaltey, I am having car trouble and I am waiting for a tow. Ironically, I was going to drop my car off at the shop today and "boom" here I am. So I thought I would be productive and post a little something while I wait. At least I am at home.

More fun from the swamp!

Oh yeah I forgot...This is great place to go airboating in the Everglades. They have these hot girls that pilot the boats for you and everything. Here is the palmcard for the place in case you ever wanted to check it out.

See you later alligator!!!

Today, Agi and I rode Shark Valley in the Everglades National Park. It was awesome! Agi had never seen an alligator before today and by the end of the day we probably saw about 50. NO KIDDING...50! Maybe more! We also so plenty of birds and butterflys and tourists! If you want to see a more pics of our day, click the title of this post. It will link you to my Picasa web album.

After the ride, we ate at "The Pit" BBQ, an old BBQ joint that has been there for ages. I had the chicken and rib combo with fried biscuits and fries. Agi had the pulled pork, "Mojito" sandwich with potato salad and onion rings. What?! We were hungry! YUUUMMMMMY!!!

Well what more can I say. Like Ice Cube said..."Today was a good day." Damn straight Homie.

My office view...

Here is the view from my office. It looks north on Biscayne Blvd. Just out of view on the right is th Bay. It's actually a nice day today. Too bad I'm not outside. Maybe I should do some "community work"...hmmm

I guess it could be worse? I could have no view at all!

Still here...

Well it has been quite awhile since I posted anything. This is partly due to the fact that the blog was not functioning properly for a while. But it seems to be working fine now. Also I have been extremely busy at work. This time of year is very busy in the Drug Prevention biz and by the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is stare at the computer. I'd much go ride or take the dogs roller blading or chill on the couch with Agi and the girls and watch "Six Feet Under" on DVD. We are new fans of the series and have been watching them thanks to Netflix. If you have never seen the show, go get the DVD's. You will not be disappointed.

Well I just wanted to post something. So there it is.

Great Day! Great Ride

Just some video I shot of my ride today at Amelia Earhart Park. I almost didn't make it out there 'cause I misplaced my ATM card and after driving all the way out to the park, I didn't have any cash! DUUUHH! Anyway I drove back home (kinda pissed) and found my card. I wasn't going to go back out but Agi psyched me up to go back and ride. Thank goodness I did 'cause it was a great ride! The sun was going down, the trail was nice and lots of shade. Of course the Giant performed flawlessly. Perfect. Thanks Babe!

Just goes to show that your never know how things are going to turn out especially when things don't go as planned.
